The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the Department's operations by Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling its activities, programs, projects, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate & timely financial reporting, maximizing utilization of financial resources, and safeguarding of assetsthrough proper accounting and sound internal control.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuresthe timely and accurate payroll process and release of all executives.
  • Implements and maintains an accounting system compliant with the Philippine Financial Reporting System (PFRS) and with the requirements of government agencies such as BIR, SEC, DOH, local government units, etc. and in accordance with good internal control.
  • Be on a continuous look-out for improvements in accounting systems and procedures including use of current technology and ensuring strict adherence with the best internal control process.
  • Reviews and approves financial vouchers and other financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Reviews monthly financial statements and analysis of expenses.
  • Reviews quarterly income tax returns and other tax reports such as for withholding tax and the VAT.
  • Ascertains that disbursements are paid on time and ensures that credit terms are maximized.
  • Guarantees that licenses such as business permit, DOH, sanitary permit are obtained and/or renewed on time.
  • Prepares annual financialstatements and tax returnsfor review of external auditors.
  • Provides schedules requested by BIR examiners and those needed to support tax cases filed with the court of tax appeals resulting from BIR assessments.
  • Maximizes the utilization of resources and works within the approved operating plans and budget.
  • Establishes standards of performance in the attainment of goals and monitors & valuates the performance of associates.
  • Develop qualified, trained competent and empowered employees.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy; Preferably with Master's Degree;
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years managerial work experience in General Accounting

Work Setup:

  • Onsite Work Set-up
  • Willing to report in BGC, Taguig City & Quezon City
  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm work schedule
