Payroll Manager
is responsible for managing payroll teams across multiple regions, aligning processes with business strategies, and leveraging the Ceridian Dayforce software to enhance efficiency and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex payroll structures while ensuring high employee satisfaction on a global scale.
Job Description
• Oversee global payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple countries
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international payroll regulations and tax requirements
• Coordinate with People and Finance departments to align payroll processes with organizational strategies and financial planning
• Manage and develop payroll professionals, providing training and support to ensure high performance and operational efficiency
• Implement and maintain payroll systems and software, ensuring compliance with organizational needs and data protection laws
• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain employee satisfaction
• Develop and enforce internal controls and policies to mitigate risks and prevent payroll-related fraud
• Monitor payroll legislation and best practices globally, adapting processes as necessary to maintain compliance
• Prepare and review payroll reports and analyses for senior management, highlighting trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with external auditors and consultants to improve payroll operations and compliance
• Liaise with the People Business Partnership team to ensure payroll-related life events are processed accurately and on time
Required Qualifications
• Has experience using Ceridian Dayforce software.
• Proven experience managing payroll in a global context with a strong understanding of international payroll laws and regulations.
• Uses payroll software and systems effectively; adapts to new technologies and implements efficient payroll solutions.
• Applies knowledge of international payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Conducts data analysis, prepares reports, and maintains payroll compliance documentation accurately.
• Leads and manages teams across multiple regions, building and sustaining high performance.
• Analyzes issues, develops solutions, and organizes tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Works under tight deadlines and manages high workloads in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with employees, management, and external partners.
Screening Criteria
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least seven (7) years of experience in payroll.
• At least one (1) year of experience leading payroll staff or a related field.
• Must have stable employment history.
