We are looking for a Finance & Payroll Manager who is highly detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced in handling both Australian and Philippine finance operations. This is a key role that ensures smooth payroll, accounting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
Accurately manage end-to-end payroll for employees in both the Philippines and Australia.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and statutory obligations in both countries.
- Audit payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Accounting & Compliance
Perform full-cycle accounting for both the Philippine entity and the Australian entity.
- Prepare and file Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other required government reports.
- Assist in preparation of tax returns for both jurisdictions.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and support external audits as required.
Financial Operations
Handle invoicing, billing, and collections to ensure accurate client and supplier transactions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for management review.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled and accurate across both entities.
Systems & Process
Leverage Xero to manage all accounting and payroll processes (must be Xero-certified).
- Implement checks and controls to minimize errors across payroll and billing.
- Provide management with clear, accurate, and timely financial insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in payroll management and accounting across both Australia and the Philippines.
- Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and reporting in both jurisdictions.
- Xero-certified with extensive hands-on experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to audit financial data.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work across international teams.
