Job Description

An HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll support, training, and compliance. They act as the bridge between employees and management to ensure smooth HR processes and a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job posting, screening, interviews).
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and job offers.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee concerns and provide HR support to staff and supervisors.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and workplace issues.
  • Maintain positive employee engagement and communication.

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR-related documents such as memos, contracts, and notices.
  • Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.

Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Coordinate with payroll for employee attendance, overtime, leaves, and adjustments.
  • Assist employees with benefits inquiries (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, etc.).
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll-related data and documentation.

Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing performance appraisals and monitoring KPIs.
  • Support supervisors in setting performance goals.
  • Document performance issues and improvement plans.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions.
  • Support career development programs and employee initiatives.

Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Ensure compliance with Labor Code of the Philippines and company policies.
  • Draft and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports for DOLE and other government agencies when needed.

HR Reporting

  • Generate HR reports such as headcount, turnover, and attendance summaries.
  • Present HR data to management for decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in HR operations or generalist role is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR processes.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or HRIS tools is a plus.
