About the role

We are seeking a talented HR Generalist to join our team at Samgyuniku Japanese Korean BBQ Korean Restaurant in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a full-time HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall HR function and contributing to the success of our thriving restaurant business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and off-boarding
  2. Administer HR policies, procedures, and compliance, ensuring adherence to local labour laws and regulations
  3. Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as training and development programmes
  4. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters
  5. Collaborate with the management team to identify and address HR-related challenges and opportunities
  6. Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports as required
  7. Support the overall HR strategy and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset
  5. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office suite
  6. Thorough understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
