Position Overview

The HR Generalist plays a key role in delivering day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle. This position is responsible for administering compensation and benefits programs, maintaining accurate timekeeping records, supporting payroll preparation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The HR Generalist will collaborate with employees, managers, and external partners to foster a positive, compliant, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate employee compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, allowances, incentives, and leave benefits.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Liaise with benefit providers to manage enrollments, changes, and claims processing.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of employee compensation and benefits data.
  • Oversee daily timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee attendance.
  • Audit timekeeping reports for inconsistencies, missing punches, and compliance with company policies.
  • Updates employee schedules, leave balances, and shift patterns.
  • Provide training and support to employees and supervisors on timekeeping systems.
  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll team or external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with data protection standards.
  • Provide general HR support to employees, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, processes, and employment conditions.
  • Support other HR functions such as recruitment and employee engagement if needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. 2–5 years of HR generalist or HR administration experience.
  • Knowledge of compensation & benefits practices, labor laws, and HR policies.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems and payroll processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS tools.
