We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Security and Safety Officer with proven experience in the hospitality/hotel sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property assets while upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol hotel premises to prevent safety hazards, suspicious activity, and unauthorized access.
  • Oversee access control, CCTV systems, alarms, emergency exits, and all security equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of guest areas, back-of-house, and hotel facilities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and brand standards.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and security-related concerns.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire drills, evacuations, and crisis management coordination.
  • Collaborate with hotel management and local authorities as needed.
  • Train staff on safety policies, emergency procedures, and loss prevention practices.
  • Ensure proper handling and documentation of lost-and-found items.
  • Support risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement of safety protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of security experience in the hospitality/hotel industry (required).
  • Strong knowledge of hotel safety regulations, emergency response, and guest service standards.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control platforms, and modern security technologies.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous during high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to perform patrols or respond to incidents as needed.
  • Valid security certification and first aid/CPR training (preferred or required depending on your location).
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
