This is a 100% remote position.

About your new role:

We are currently seeking a motivated, data driven analyst to join our internal security and compliance team. This person will be self-motivated and have a drive to learn cyber security and compliance from multiple team members. This role will build a person into an analyst and teach them valuable skills in the world of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify threats which include, but are not limited to phishing, user events, data compliance, and malware
  • Assist in the creation of the threat detection rules
  • Assist in the tuning of threat detection rules
  • Work through incidents with other security team members
  • Learn the CommandLink platform
  • Create work plans to identify future risks and areas of concern
  • Assist in compliance audits and documentation
  • Assist with evidence gathering to keep our company compliant

What you'll need for success:

  • Minimum of 1 year of cyber security role, such as SOC analyst, penetration tester, or information security analyst
  • Minimum of 1 year of threat analysis
  • Minimum of 1 year of working with Microsoft
  • Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and issues that span multiple vectors
  • Understanding of common cybersecurity threats and terminology including but not limited to phishing, malware, and data compliance
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and willingness to learn
  • Understanding of cloud applications (Office 365, G-Suite, AWS) is desired as well as desire to learn innovative technologies
