Job Summary:

The Hotel IT Officer is responsible for managing all technology systems, networks, and software used in hotel operations. This includes overseeing the Property Management System (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, accounting and inventory software, hotel Wi-Fi infrastructure, CCTV systems, door-lock systems, and other IT-related facilities. The IT Officer ensures smooth daily operations, fast troubleshooting, data security, and consistent system uptime.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Hotel Systems Management

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot hotel PMS, POS, CRM, HRIS, Accounting, and Inventory systems.
  • Coordinate with software vendors for updates, licensing, issues, and enhancements.
  • Train staff on system usage and ensure proper user access levels.

2. Network & Hardware Management

  • Manage hotel Wi-Fi, LAN, servers, network devices, switches, and routers.
  • Perform regular maintenance of computers, printers, tablets, and workstations.
  • Ensure CCTV, door-lock systems, biometric devices, and communication systems are functional.

3. Technical Support

  • Provide first-line technical support for all hotel departments and guests.
  • Respond quickly to IT-related issues to minimize operational downtime.
  • Maintain IT helpdesk logs and service records.

4. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

  • Implement data privacy protocols following national and hotel standards.
  • Ensure security of hotel data, backups, and user accounts.
  • Monitor unauthorized access, malware threats, and system vulnerabilities.

5. Projects & Upgrades

  • Assist in planning and implementing new IT projects and system upgrades.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and licenses.
  • Document system configurations, passwords (secured), and IT policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
