About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, the MIS ot IT Officer/ Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hotel. This full-time, on-site role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel's systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Implement and maintain efficient data management and network infrastructure to support the hotel's operations
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into technology solutions that drive process improvements and productivity
  • Develop and monitor IT policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and the hotel's security protocols
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance the guest experience
  • Manage the MIS/IT department's budget, procurement and vendor relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the hospitality industry

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role within an MIS or IT department, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Can communicate and with interpersonal skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
