A Front Office Associate is a professional typically found in hospitality, corporate, or service-based industries. Their primary role is to manage front-desk operations and be the first point of contact for clients, guests, or visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests or clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle check-in/check-out procedures (especially in hospitality).
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Maintain records, handle data entry, and manage office supplies.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, or other departments when needed.
  • Manage reservations and cancellations.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean and presentable.
  • Handle basic billing and cash/credit card transactions (if applicable).

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, hotel/property management systems like Opera, etc.)
