About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager/Assistant Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team at City Garden Hotel Makati'. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our front office, ensuring exceptional customer service and the smooth running of our hotel. Based in the vibrant Makati City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for managing a team of front office staff and contributing to the overall success of the hotel.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of the front office team, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest enquiries
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving guest issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Overseeing the efficient handling of cash, payments, and financial transactions
- Monitoring and maintaining proper record-keeping and reporting procedures
- Assisting with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Collaborating with other departments to align hotel operations and address any operational challenges
- Representing the hotel and promoting its services to guests and the local community
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar front office or duty manager role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in handling cash, payments, and financial transactions
- Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front office, reservations, and guest services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in English and the local language(s)
