• Location: The Tribute Tower

I. Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests, employees, and hotel assets. The role ensures strict implementation of security protocols, conducts regular patrols, monitors CCTV systems, responds to incidents, and provides immediate assistance during emergencies. The position upholds the hotel's standards of guest service while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

II. Key Responsibilities

A. Safety and Security Operations

• Conduct routine and random patrolling of all hotel areas, including guest floors, back-of-house, perimeter, and parking spaces.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access controls, ensuring proper documentation of all observations.
• Enforce hotel security protocols, including visitor management, key control, and incident prevention measures.
• Assist in crowd control and queue management during events, peak hours, or emergencies.
• Secure hotel facilities, ensuring all doors, exits, and restricted areas are properly locked or monitored.

B. Incident Response and Reporting

• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, and guest complaints.
• Prepare complete, accurate, and timely Incident Reports, Security Logbooks, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with local authorities (PNP, BFP, barangay officials, etc.) when necessary.
• Support investigations related to theft, loss, accidents, or policy violations.

C. Guest and Employee Assistance

• Provide courteous assistance to guests, including directions, lost-and-found processing, and general inquiries.
• Assist VIPs, deliveries, cash transfers, and staff handling sensitive items or information.
• Ensure employee compliance with hotel policies, including proper use of IDs, uniforms, and entry/exit procedures.

D. Safety Compliance and Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in implementing the hotel's Emergency Response Plan, Fire Safety Plan, and evacuation procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of fire exits, extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms, and other safety equipment.
• Participate in safety drills, OSH programs, and security-related training.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures to management.

III. Minimum Qualifications

A. Education & Experience

• At least High School Graduate; College level or graduate is an advantage.
• Preferably with 1–2 years of relevant security experience, ideally in hospitality or property management.
• Background in military or law enforcement is an advantage.

B. Licenses & Requirements

• Updated training certificates (e.g., NC II Security Services, First Aid, and Basic Life Support preferred).
• Must pass background checks and fit-to-work medical examination.

C. Skills & Competencies

• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally in stressful situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, and emergency procedures.
• High level of integrity, discipline, and ethical conduct.

IV. Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, running, or assisting in evacuations.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
