About the role

ScrumBees Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Manila City, Metro Manila, Philippines to expand our ERP Software - OctaBees ) , a renewable energy ERP Software. As a contract role, this position will play a crucial part in driving new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively prospecting and reaching out to potential new clients to generate interest in our products and services
  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to convert leads into new business
  • Negotiating and closing deals, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract signing and onboarding
  • Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction
  • Tracking and reporting on key sales metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in new business development or sales, preferably in the technology or software industry
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively pitch to and engage with C-suite and senior-level executives
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles
  • Proficient in using CRM and sales management tools to drive and track sales activities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
