General Description

The Lead Generation & Sales Support Officer is responsible for generating, qualifying, and managing leads for renewable energy and retrofit services, including heat pumps, solar systems, boiler installations, wall and loft insulation, and other energy efficiency solutions.

This role plays a critical part in building a strong pipeline for the UK sales team by identifying potential customers, gathering key details, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating real-time lead handovers. The position also contributes to market insights, competitor tracking, and reporting to support continuous business growth and operational improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Cold Outreach

  2. Conduct outbound calls to potential residential and commercial customers across the UK.

  3. Introduce the company and explain the benefits of renewable energy and retrofit services.
  4. Qualify potential leads by gathering essential customer information, including:
  5. Property type and size
  6. Current heating system
  7. Insulation status (loft, wall, etc.)
  8. Energy consumption
  9. Interest in government grants (e.g., Boiler Upgrade Scheme)
  10. Use pre-approved scripts and checklists to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  11. Maintain a steady pipeline of high-quality leads for the UK sales team.

  12. Lead Coordination

  13. Work closely with the UK-based 3-member conversion team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.

  14. Ensure leads are properly documented, sent immediately upon qualification, and followed up on in real-time.
  15. Track lead ownership to avoid duplication and ensure accountability.
  16. Facilitate seamless coordination between the Philippines lead generation team and the UK sales conversion team.

  17. Reporting & Documentation

  18. Maintain and update the CRM system with customer details, service type tags (Heat Pump, Solar, Boiler, Loft Insulation, Wall Insulation, Retrofit Solutions), and lead status updates.

  19. Prepare daily reports including: Total calls made, Leads generated, Leads passed to the UK team, Service breakdown by category
  20. Submit weekly performance summaries, highlighting key results and areas for improvement.

  21. Market & Customer Insights

  22. Collect customer feedback and share insights with the marketing and operations teams.

  23. Monitor competitor activities and identify emerging trends in renewable energy and retrofit markets.
  24. Provide actionable recommendations to support sales strategy and market positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years in sales, with a proven track record of success in lead generation, cold calling, and closing deals.
  • Must have hands-on experience in using HubSpot CRM, including: Automating follow-ups, Tracking email engagements, Generating sales reports and analytics, Optimizing the sales pipeline through automation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of renewable energy and home improvement markets.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet sales targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple service pipelines simultaneously
  • Knowledge of UK government renewable energy grants and retrofit programs
  • Experience in renewable energy or construction industries
