Business Development Representative

Job HighlightsContract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern with an hour unpaid break
Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to enterprise and government prospects to generate new business opportunities for data migration, cloud consulting, and analytics services
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with your leadership team
- Generate and qualify leads across your three service pillars: Databricks/data services, cloud/AI consulting, and Odoo ERP solutions
- Nurture prospect relationships through the initial stages of the sales funnel
- Schedule appointments and hand off qualified prospects to your onshore closing team
- Follow up on leads and maintain consistent prospect communication
- Create proposals and sales materials as needed
Scope
- Focus on enterprise and government market segments
- Target markets include US and Canadian businesses
- Services to sell include data migration, cloud consulting, Power BI/analytics, AI services, and Odoo ERP consulting
- Work closely with onshore team for deal closure
- At least 1-3 years of recent business development role
- Ability to work independently and create sales strategies collaboratively
- Strong communication skills for enterprise-level outreach
- Experience with B2B sales, preferably in technology or consulting services
- Comfortable working with North American time zones (Canada-based client)
- Self-motivated with ability to manage sales pipeline and follow-up processes
