Job Description:

  • Monitoring team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Maintaining and increasing sales of company's products
  • Guide business team in completing their tasks successfully
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
  • Develop individual developmental plans for each team member
  • Conduct regular business meetings and coordinate with teams to ensure continuous development.
  • Recruit potential candidates, train team members to improve their skills and competencies, assess their performance and take necessary actions when needed.
  • Compiling and analyzing sales figures to report to senior managers
  • Allocating areas to sales representatives
  • Implement business strategies to achieve monthly and annual goals.
  • First line leader responsible for meeting and exceeding product performance and sales revenue. Ensuring achievement of monthly and annual business plans for current year.
  • Identity the strength & areas of improvement for Product Specialist /Health Consultant capability development
  • Quarterly KPIs Performance management of teams
  • Monitor doctor and account coverage, ensuring alignment with business unit strategies.
  • Initiate and oversee sales activities, product promotions, CMEs, and group initiatives.
  • Conduct regular data-driven performance reviews, monthly trackers, and business reviews.
  • Identify and resolve distribution, inventory, and market-related challenges to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
  • Conduct regular joint field visits to observe, coach, and upskill team members in product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to drive continuous improvement and learning culture.
  • Motivate, guide, and discipline staff as necessary while creating a positive and accountable team environment.
  • Support career aspirations of Product Specialists by facilitating Individual Development Plans and identifying succession-ready talents.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy/ nursing or any related field with significant work experience in pharmaceutical industry

Job Qualifications:

Experience in Dispensing MDs

Knowledgeable in the area of assignment

Has good relation with Dispensing MDs and accounts

Good in account and MD tie-up programs

At least 2years of experience as Area Business Manager

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, market dynamics, and customer engagement strategies.

Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams toward achieving performance goals.

Experience in Oncology is preferred.
