  • Record, review, and maintain financial transactions in accounting software. Ensuring all accounting data is entered correctly into the system.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances per books tally with the records per bank.

  • Assist in the preparation of BIR related schedules needed for tax filing and payment.

  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes and activities.

  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Help monitor and update fixed asset registers, lapsing schedule and other asset-related documentation.
  • Help prepare account analysis and ensure that these account schedules are reconciled in the general ledger.

  • Assist in preparing budget reports and tracking actual performance against budgeted figures.

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to financial transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Backup support to other accounting staff (like AR and AP) during peak times or absences, if needed.

· Ensure confidentiality in all dealings with financial data, including transactions, payroll information, and any internal and external financial reports.

  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents, for easy and efficient retrieval.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and undertake additional responsibilities as required/assigned by the Department Head.
