About the role

GOLDSTAR SECURITIES, INC.' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accountant to join their team in Tektite East Tower, Exchange Road, Ortigas Center Pasig City Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting functions, ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and other regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounting

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
