About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Guill-Bern Corporation as a full-time Account Receivable based in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting critical reporting for the organization. This is a dynamic role that will allow you to contribute directly to the overall financial health and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger
  2. Assist in preparing periodic financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  3. Conduct account analyses and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness
  4. Manage accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, sending collection emails, following up via calls, and coordinating with clients to ensure timely payments
  5. Support both internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls
  7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies

What we're looking for

  1. Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  2. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within Account Payables and Receivables
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficient in financial reporting and data analysis; excellent attention to detail; solid communication and teamwork skills
  4. Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently; committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality
