JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding shipment status, service concerns and issue resolution. This role primarily handles domestic freight forwarding shipments, working closely with customers, internal teams, and service providers to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle and monitor all domestic freight forwarding shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide real-time updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and any service-related issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as fleet and dispatch to resolve client needs.
  • Escalate complex or unsolved cases to the Branch Head and ensure prompt follow-up.
  • Coordinate with drivers and third-party service providers to secure timely pickup and delivery.
  • Track shipments from booking to loading until arrival at the destination, updating customers accordingly.
  • Ensure timely release and submission of Proof of Delivery (POD) to clients and branches.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • At least six (6) months related experience in logistics, freight or customer service.
  • A graduate of any Bachelor's degree
  • Knoweldgeable of freight forwarding and various transportation modes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
