URGENT HIRING: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

AREA OF ASSIGNMENT: MOLUGAN, EL SALVADOR, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

JOB SUMMARY:

Operations Supervisor is responsible for all day-to-day warehouse operations and administrative activities, and ensure safe and efficient operations of each department. Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor on the implementation of right processes within the warehouse and enable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serve as primary point of contact when there are client or management issues related to equipment quality, client service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.

  2. Planning and executing departmental budgets.

  3. Overseeing inventory needs and undertaking office management and administration.

  4. Find alternate suppliers or workers in case of shortages or unavailability of primary resources.

  5. Assist with planning and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, processes, safety measures and operations.

  6. Maintain communications with suppliers, clients and others involved in the supply and delivery of bottles.

  7. Monitor team performance and Quality Assurance levels, to ensure quality standards are met

  8. Research methods to improve operations and reduce costs

  9. Ensure all site operations are following company policies and regulations.

  10. Ensure compliance to local labor laws and practices.

  11. Respond to notices from regulatory agencies, vendors, suppliers, purchasers and clients, or their representatives

  12. Advise management and warehouse supervisor on results of regulatory inspections, including fines, or stop-work orders

  13. Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for different departments, including HR and Accounting

  14. Track and record attendance, hours worked and performance of employees.

  15. Participate in training and evaluating personnel in the warehouse department and provide helpful feedback concerning the achievement of personal and team goals

  16. Collating, summarizing, evaluating, and reporting on production metrics to upper management.

  17. Developing strategies to improve production metrics and performance.

  18. Improve the work environment, cleanliness and operations of each department and the warehouse as a whole.

  19. Conduct periodic safety audit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate Ideally a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Business or Operations Management course
  • Preferably 3-5 Yrs Experienced in Warehouse and operations set-up as Operations Supervisor or similar role
  • Proficient in MS Applications.
  • Knowledge of operational principles and policies
  • Hands-on experience implementing operational processes
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team leadership
  • With certificate as Safety Officer an advantage
  • With good interpersonal relations and communication skills
  • Willing to be assigned in Molugan, El Salvador, Misamis Oriental
