Black & White Engineering (B&W) is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy with nearly 900 employees across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Since 2007, we have been delivering world-class Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering consultancy services to clients around the globe.

As we continue to expand, our Manila office serves as one of our two global design hubs, playing a critical role in supporting projects across multiple regions. Our Finance Team is integral to this success—ensuring operational excellence, financial accuracy, and compliance across all entities.

The Finance Executive will coordinate and perform finance-related tasks aligned with both local reporting requirements and group-level standards. Working closely with the local Finance Team, the Group Finance Team, and the CFO, the role ensures consistent, timely, and accurate financial reporting and compliance. This position requires an experienced finance professional who can manage accounting processes, lead financial reporting activities, and support continuous improvement in finance systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Support – Group Entities

  • Manage account entries, financial documents, payments, and overall company finances.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory reports.
  • Upload vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and timeliness of entries.
  • Support monthly financial closing, including adjustments for prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
  • Prepare and upload both external and intercompany invoices promptly.
  • Assist with debt collection and provide support in cash flow management.
  • Liaise with local authorities to ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of returns.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and insurance brokers for locally placed policies and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in accounting and finance.
  • Experience in project accounting and managing multiple entities.
  • Strong background in ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of liaising effectively with stakeholders, auditors, and authorities in Manila.
