Job Summary:

The Importation Manager oversees all international sourcing, import documentation, and customs clearance processes to ensure the timely and compliant arrival of imported goods. This role ensures cost efficiency, compliance with trade regulations, and smooth coordination among suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end importation processes including documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely shipment and compliance.
  • Monitor import schedules, lead times, and shipment costs to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure adherence to government import regulations, trade compliance, and company policies.
  • Review and manage all import-related documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or delays.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with international suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Maintain updated knowledge on customs laws, tariff classifications, and import duties.
  • Prepare regular reports on import activities, costs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in importation or logistics management, ideally in a retail or trading company.
  • Strong understanding of import/export laws, documentation, and processes.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in ERP or supply chain management systems is an advantage.

Work Set-up:

Monday to Friday - onsite

Saturday - WFH

Must be willing to work in BGC, Taguig

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
