Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Virtual HR & Administrative Assistant to support a growing US HR consultancy serving small law firms and private medical practices in the U.S. The role will focus on administrative HR tasks, document preparation, research, client support, and operational coordination. A secondary focus will include social media marketing and content creation to help expand our visibility and client engagement.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and experience working with HR tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

HR & Administrative Support

  • Draft, proofread, and format HR documents (policies, procedures, employee handbooks) using templates
  • Assist with candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview scheduling
  • Update and maintain records within HRIS platforms
  • Conduct research on compliance topics (e.g., state labor law updates, industry HR practices)
  • Prepare client-facing deliverables (presentations, checklists, reports)

Marketing & Business Development

  • Draft and schedule social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram) using Canva templates
  • Repurpose existing content into short-form posts, graphics, and newsletters

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience as a US HR Assistant
  • Strong English writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with HR tasks such as resume review, data entry, or compliance documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Experience with common US HRIS platforms (ADP, Gusto, Rippling)
  • Knowledge of U.S. HR compliance basics (meal/rest breaks, PTO policies, onboarding)
  • Graphic design and social media skills using Canva, LinkedIn, or scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, or ClickUp)
