Job Opportunity: HR Admin (AU Exp)
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized HR Assistant with AU Exp to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals eager to grow and learn in a dynamic environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining compliance registers, supporting HR operations, and assisting with internal audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Support HR processes including onboarding, contract management, and maintaining personnel files.
- Update and manage HR trackers, compliance checklists, and timesheets.
- Assist with employee documentation, record management, and induction coordination.
- Support recruitment processes when required (sourcing, screening, and scheduling).
Compliance & Audit Support
- Maintain compliance documentation aligned with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits (NDIS, Fair Work, and WorkCover).
- Review HR, participant, and operational files for completeness and accuracy.
- Support policy implementation, version control, and document updates.
- Maintain continuous improvement and corrective action registers.
Administration & Reporting
- Organize and maintain confidential HR and compliance records.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management review.
- Ensure document accuracy, proper labelling, and compliance with version tracking standards.
- Assist in monitoring due dates for renewals (e.g. police checks, training, licences).
Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical and data-entry accuracy skills.
- Excellent command of Excel/Google Sheets (filtering, formatting, conditional logic).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in handling sensitive information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures while working independently and efficiently.
- A keen eye for compliance gaps or inconsistencies.
Technical Requirements:
- Desktop or laptop (at least Intel G3240 processor or higher, 4GB RAM, and 500GB HDD minimum or 250GB SSD).
- 18.5" LED monitor or larger (secondary monitor may be required).
- Functional webcam for virtual meetings and supervision.
- Reliable internet connection with at least 1 Mbps upload/download speed for clear virtual communication.
