Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities·
- Plan and execute field sales strategies to acquire new accounts and expand existing ones, including customer visits, demonstrations, and presentations.·
- Identify prospective clients through market research, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and lead generation.· Qualify leads, prepare proposals/pitches, negotiate proposals and close deals.
- Maintain relationships with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, upselling, and referrals.·
- Work with technical or product teams to understand features & capabilities deeply; be able to translate technical offerings into value propositions for customers.·
- Monitor competitor offerings, market trends, and customer feedback to make recommendations for product improvements, pricing, or positioning.· Forecast sales, prepare reports, track progress against targets, and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.· Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services or products to customers.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, or industry events, as needed.· Manage sales pipeline using CRM tools; ensure accurate data entry and timely follow-ups.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or a closely related technical field.· Experience:o
- At least 1 year of experience in field sales.o At least 1 year experience in a Business Development or similar capacity (managing sales, closing deals, client acquisition).· Technical Inclination:o
- Comfortable understanding technical products/services, working with technical teams.o Ability to comprehend technical specifications and communicate them in business terms.· Skills & Competencies:o
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.o Negotiation skills; confident in presenting proposals.o Good interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and relationships.o Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.o Analytical mindset; able to study market data, track performance, and adjust plans.
- Good organizational skills; able to manage pipeline, schedule field activities, follow up with clients etc.· Tools & Technical Knowledge.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools.o Competent in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
- If relevant in your industry: knowledge of relevant technical / engineering tools or terminology.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
