Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer is responsible for acquiring new client accounts and building long-term partnerships with companies in need of staffing and recruitment services. This role focuses on lead generation, client meetings, service proposal presentations, and coordinating with the recruitment team to ensure smooth client delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and target potential clients across various industries requiring manpower or recruitment services.
  • Conduct client outreach via email, phone calls, social media, and networking events.
  • Schedule and lead client meetings or presentations to introduce our services.
  • Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Research market trends, industry demands, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Recommend marketing and sales strategies to increase brand visibility and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional materials and campaigns.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with the recruitment operations team to ensure timely delivery of client requirements.
  • Coordinate proper turnover of signed contracts and new job orders to recruiters.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, client meetings, and progress reports in CRM or tracking sheets.
  • Submit regular sales performance reports and pipeline updates to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR Management, or related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (preferably in a manpower, BPO, or HR services industry).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent networking abilities and client management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM tools.

Job Type: Full-time
