The Business Development Officer plays a key role in identifying, analyzing, and executing growth opportunities aligned with the company's strategic goals. This includes property acquisition, partnership development, and project feasibility analysis. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, analytical, and experienced in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Acquisition & Market Expansion

  • Identify and evaluate new real estate opportunities for acquisition and development.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Negotiate with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure acquisition deals.

Project Feasibility & Financial Analysis

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess project viability.
  • Perform Net Present Value (NPV) studies, scenario planning, risk assessment, and return on investment (ROI) analysis.
  • Analyze financial statements to provide recommendations to senior management.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and company targets.
  • Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and progress monitoring across assigned projects.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to management on the status of business development initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Construction, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Facilitate alignment between business strategies and operational implementation.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, government agencies, and industry networks.
  • Represent the company in business meetings, industry events, and negotiations when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Real Estate, Finance, or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in business development, real estate, or related industry.
  • Proven track record in property acquisition, project development, or investment analysis.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Results-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
