Nextvas Inc. is a growing provider of business process outsourcing solutions, specializing in virtual assistant services and other bespoke solutions. At Nextvas, you will be part of a team committed to expanding our global reach, cultivating high-value partnerships, and continuously innovating to deliver outstanding service to our clients. As Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in driving strategic growth, uncovering new markets, and scaling Nextvas's business operations.
Position Overview:
In this role, the responsibility is to lead the development and execution of business growth strategies. The position involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, and coordinating internal teams to ensure revenue, market share, and partnership goals are achieved. This role serves as a key driver of commercial success and strategic expansion for Nextvas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet or exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
- Identify, research, and target new market segments, industries, and partnership opportunities.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, partnership agreements, and deals that favorably position Nextvas in the market.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align offerings, ensure competitiveness, and deliver on client expectations.
- Oversee and mentor a team of business development / sales professionals; set performance goals, provide feedback, and drive accountability.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback; adjust strategy accordingly.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, budgets, and reports; deliver metrics and presentations to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, or trade shows to promote Nextvas and generate leads.
- Drive continuous improvement in business development processes, tools, and CRM use to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Significant experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with at least several years in a leadership or director capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business growth targets and revenue goals.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Superior communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Financial/business acumen: able to prepare budgets, evaluate financial implications of deals, forecast, analyze ROI.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales & pipeline management software, and reporting platforms.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience in outsourcing or BPO industry, or related service industries.
- Experience working with international clients or global markets.
- Strong understanding of digital tools, marketing technologies, and platforms.
- Prior exposure to partnerships, mergers & acquisitions, or strategic alliances.
- Ability to lead change, adapt to shifting priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
