Job Brief

We are seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Manager to lead a remote purchasing team and oversee procurement and demand planning across a broad product range in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a remote purchasing team

Oversee purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and inventory management

Analyse sales data and trends to forecast demand and plan procurement

Ensure compliance with Australian import and food safety regulations

Provide senior management with concise procurement updates

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement

Minimum 4 years' experience in food purchasing

Demonstrated team management experience (3 years)

Experience in demand planning and sales forecasting

Strong supplier management and negotiation skills

Proficient in ERP systems or advanced Excel

Excellent English communication skills

Software Proficiency

ERP systems or advanced Microsoft Excel

Education

Relevant qualifications in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or business

Personal Attributes

Confident team leader with remote management capabilities

Detail-oriented and analytical

Clear communicator with the ability to summarise complex data

Self-sufficient and outcome-driven

Time Zone: Australian Business Hours

Applicant Location: Must be Filipinos living in the Philippines
