Job Brief

We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead a remote purchasing team and oversee procurement and demand planning across a broad product range in the food industry.

Responsibilities

· Manage and mentor a remote purchasing team

· Oversee purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and inventory management

· Analyse sales data and trends to forecast demand and plan procurement

· Ensure compliance with Australian import and food safety regulations

· Provide senior management with concise procurement updates

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement

· Minimum 4 years' experience in food purchasing

· Demonstrated team management experience (3 years)

· Experience in demand planning and sales forecasting

· Strong supplier management and negotiation skills

· Proficient in ERP systems or advanced Excel

· Excellent English communication skills

Software Proficiency

· ERP systems or advanced Microsoft Excel

Education

· Relevant qualifications in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or business

Personal Attributes

· Confident team leader with remote management capabilities

· Detail-oriented and analytical

· Clear communicator with the ability to summarise complex data

· Self-sufficient and outcome-driven

Time Zone: Australian Business Hours

Applicant Location: Must be Filipinos living in the Philippines
