The Role in Action

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer and Procurement Specialist to lead Starbond's global sourcing and supplier management initiatives. This position requires a strategic negotiator of the highest caliber—someone who can confidently manage complex negotiations with contract manufacturers and international suppliers to drive cost efficiency, quality, and long-term value.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global procurement, supply chain management, and contract negotiation, with a proven track record of optimizing supplier performance. This is a key strategic role that ensures the strength and stability of Starbond's international supply chain and directly contributes to our continued global growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with global suppliers and contract manufacturers, securing the most competitive pricing, terms, and quality standards.
• Develop and execute international procurement strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and supply continuity.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, reliability, performance, and compliance with company standards.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase orders, requisitions, and invoice tracking.
• Analyze global markets to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Oversee inventory and logistics coordination, ensuring smooth cross-border operations.
• Ensure compliance with trade laws, customs regulations, and international procurement standards.
• Collaborate across departments (supply chain, logistics, and quality control) to maintain alignment with production and operational goals.
• Maintain supplier relationships and continuously evaluate their performance to uphold Starbond's quality expectations.
• Take on planning and coordination responsibilities that support overall supply chain efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.
• Minimum 5 years of international procurement experience, preferably within manufacturing or e-commerce.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic negotiation and supplier contract management.
• Proven success negotiating directly with contract manufacturers on high-value agreements.
• Solid background in supply chain management, particularly within direct manufacturing environments (not distribution).
• Strong knowledge of global logistics, cross-border shipping, and customs compliance.
• Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance tracking.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
• Open-minded, adaptable, and capable of taking on supply planning responsibilities as needed.
