Job Description:

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new business development initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current clients/partners while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving business growth.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Write reports on financial services and industry trends and create proposals for new business services.
  • Worked alongside the product development team on developing new business services.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Business Development or Sales and Marketing in the Insurance industry or related field.
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills and IT Fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • The ability to travel as needed.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Project Management Tools.
  • Previous data analysis experience.
  • Proven ability in financial and budgetary processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Product Suite.
