Business Development Intern

The intern will be expected to support various functions, with a focus on data management, market research, and communication:

Sales & Customer Support Enablement

  • CRM Management: Assist in maintaining and updating our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (e.g., inputting leads, updating customer status, logging communication).
  • Proposal Support: Help prepare and format sales proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation for potential clients and partners.
  • Inquiry Triage: Assist in managing the initial response and routing of incoming sales and customer inquiries to the appropriate team member.

Market Research & Data Analysis

  • Industry Deep Dive: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the renewable energy space to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Data Organization: Collect, clean, and organize business data from various sources into reports and dashboards using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for management review.
  • Target Identification: Assist the business development team in identifying and researching potential new clients and strategic partners.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Document Control: Manage and organize shared documents and folders within Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets) to ensure version control and easy access for the team.
  • Meeting Logistics: Coordinate, schedule, and prepare agendas for internal and external meetings, and accurately document and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively suggest and document ways to streamline administrative and operational workflows to improve efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (or pursuing final year) in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent organizational skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Familiarity with CRM tools is a definite advantage.
  • Mindset: Highly detail-oriented with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Preferred Experience (A Plus): Prior experience or exposure in sales, support, business development, or the renewable energy sector will be highly valued.

Contract length: 3 months
