Job Summary:

The Fixed Asset Specialist will be responsible for the accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of the hospital's fixed assets. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while supporting the Finance Division in asset management, audits, and reporting. The position requires close coordination with various departments to maintain the integrity of records and ensure timely updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update fixed asset registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in line with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and schedules related to fixed assets for internal and external audit requirements.
  • Ensure proper tagging, documentation, and classification of fixed assets.
  • Support process improvements to strengthen asset management and reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with departments for the timely and accurate submission of asset-related data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting or fixed asset management.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and fixed asset management practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and integrity.
  • Ability to work with deadlines and coordinate across departments.
