Your Role in the Team

Be part of our client's team as an Accountant, where you will manage CAM reconciliations, prepare financial statements, and support reporting for community and homeowners' associations. You will collaborate with international teams, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum 1-3 years of business accounting experience
• Excellent English communication skills, oral and written
• Excellent educational credentials with a focus on accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards
• High comfort level with technology, especially web-based software and platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing high-quality results
• Can easily build rapport with team members, other staff, clients, and service providers

Core Responsibilities

• Assume ownership of the reconciliation process for CAM buildings/portfolios
• Summarize current financial status of the division by collecting information; prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
• Review monthly financial statements for CAM buildings/portfolios
• Handle direct financial reporting for a portfolio of customers, including community condo and homeowners' associations, including reconciliations and preparation of monthly reporting packets
• Work with the Chicago-based accounting department to reconcile and report on the related CAM and corporate accounts
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Support budget and forecasting activities
• Assist in the onboarding of new community associations
• Answer accounting procedure questions
• Assist in continuous improvements to internal processes of both accounting and operations
