Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring they comply with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
  • Mining-Specific Accounting: Manage accounting for unique mining assets, including asset valuation, depletion (tracking the diminishing value of non-renewable resources), and impairment testing.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with both general accounting regulations and specific mining industry laws and standards.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret and analyze large volumes of financial data to support decision-making.
  • ERP & Excel Skills: Utilize and supervise the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial management.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the accounting team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes within the mining operation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: 5-6 Several years of accounting experience are usually needed, with some direct experience in the mining sector being highly beneficial.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory or leadership roles are often a prerequisite.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of accounting software and advanced Excel is crucial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
