General Affairs Support Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Affairs (GA) Assistant to support our corporate office and restaurant operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office administration, compliance with regulations, and providing HR and employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage office administration, including vendor coordination, office supply management, contracts, permits, and licenses.
· Assist with benefit administration (enrollment, terminations, employee inquiries).
· Maintain business and liability insurance, ensuring timely renewals.
· Support recruitment efforts.
· Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
· Handle customer inquiries or complaints referred to the corporate office and coordinate follow-ups.
· Provide administrative support to management and communicate with internal teams and external contacts.
Qualifications:
· Associate's Degree in Business or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
· 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (General Affairs, HR, or office administration).
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
· Ability to communicate effectively in English.
· Dependable, customer-service oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
