Overview:

This leadership role drives regulatory transformation initiatives, process reviews, and governance efforts across the organization. The position focuses on strengthening compliance controls, policy governance, and organizational resilience while overseeing a small team. It supports compliance well-being, readiness for regulatory reviews, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory and compliance transformation projects.
  • Oversee governance frameworks, policy management, and control remediation.
  • Partner with business units for end-to-end compliance reviews.
  • Support business continuity, service level adherence, and transition processes.
  • Foster team development and promote compliance culture across functions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in controls, regulatory compliance, or governance, preferably in banking or insurance.
  • Background in risk, audit, or transformation; experience with OSFI E21 or equivalent frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with multinational environments or BSP protocols preferred.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical tools (e.g., Power BI) are a nice-to-have but not required.
  • Location: Manila or Cebu
  • Work Setup: Hybrid
  • Schedule: Flexible (day to mid-shift, with occasional Canada overlap)
