Process Lead (GL & Treasury)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Process Lead with expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Treasury functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and driving process improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial operations to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:General Ledger (GL):

  • Oversee GL operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify variances and provide insights.

Treasury Management:

  • Manage daily cash flow and banking transactions to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Oversee fund transfers, reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Maintain banking relationships and ensure compliance with treasury policies.
  • Support cash forecasting and working capital management.
  • Assist in the development of treasury strategies to optimize financial performance.

Process Leadership & Improvement:

  • Lead a team and provide guidance on financial processes and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
