Associate Director, Regulatory Transformation and Governance

Location: Metro Manila | Hybrid | Global Financial Services

Shape the future of compliance transformation and governance excellence.

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive regulatory transformation, governance, and organizational resiliency for a leading global financial services institution. This pivotal role sits within the firm's Integrated Compliance Services (ICS) team and will oversee strategic programs that strengthen regulatory alignment, elevate governance standards, and embed a culture of compliance and innovation across the enterprise.

You will provide strategic oversight on global regulatory initiatives, lead a high-performing team, and drive a multi-year transformation roadmap that enables business agility, transparency, and regulatory resilience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Regulatory Transformation: Design and execute transformation strategies that modernize compliance frameworks and drive sustainable change across regions and business units.

  • Governance & Reporting: Deliver executive and board-level reporting, support governance committees, and translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Policy Governance: Oversee end-to-end compliance policy lifecycle management—harmonization, attestation, and effectiveness testing.

  • Compliance Organizational Resiliency (COR): Drive the COR program by embedding resiliency principles into compliance operations, developing documentation and training, and ensuring critical functions are risk-ready.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and close process gaps, conduct thematic reviews, and lead corrective action planning to enhance regulatory performance.

  • Leadership & People Development: Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Strategic Engagement: Partner with senior business and risk leaders to integrate regulatory priorities into enterprise strategy and risk appetite.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years' experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or governance within the financial services or insurance sector.

  • Proven expertise in regulatory transformation, policy governance, and business continuity planning.

  • Strong background in program management, governance reporting, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, or related field (Master's or relevant certification preferred).

  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage high-performing, cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and regulators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CRCM, or CBCP.

  • Experience representing compliance or governance functions with regulators or industry peers.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, operational risk management, and governance structures.

  • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation or remediation programs.
