About the role:

The Equities Operations team, a vital component of the broader Corporate Operations Group, supports the Equities trading business. This team is pivotal in managing the post-trade life cycle controls for equities trading across global markets. Their responsibilities encompass trade allocation, booking, settlement, funding, reconciliation, and client management, all while collaborating closely with various departments such as Corporate Operations, Front Office, Finance, and Risk.

Role Overview: As a key member of the Equities Operations team based in the Philippines, you will undertake a leadership role focused on Commission Sharing (CSA) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. These operations support the commission sharing business within company's Capital trading, where clients utilize company's access to global markets for equities execution and share commission brokerage with research providers. This role demands active engagement with traders, desk heads, business managers, external clients, vendors, and multiple stakeholders within the Corporate Operations Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily CSA & AR operations in the Philippines.
  • Manage Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet set targets.
  • Handle internal and external stakeholder management, serving as a senior point of escalation.
  • Drive process transformation to bolster controls, enhance efficiencies, and improve client experiences.
  • Support team development, recruitment, and organizational efforts in collaboration with the global management team.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A deep understanding of post-trade equities operations, whether in a middle office or settlements capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of control and risk frameworks within banking operations.
  • The ability to lead and support team growth as a strong team player.
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders.
  • A proven track record in driving and managing change to achieve successful outcomes.
  • The capability to navigate challenging scenarios and identify solutions.
  • While experience in commission sharing and/or accounts receivable is preferred, it is not mandatory.
