The Business Development Officer is responsible for the management of all Business Development activities aimed at business growth and sustainability. The position shall also be responsible for the overall concerns of each of the accounts/business partners on footprint acquisition and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

Project Management and Process Compliance

  1. Management of Leasing Agreements

  2. Ensure they are monitored, renewed, kept on file and shared to key departments in Terry S.A. Inc.

  3. Ensure Smooth Transition of New Store Openings

  4. Pre-Operating Activities are to be led and coordinated by Business Development

  5. Once Store is opened, Business Development to turnover responsibility and ownership to Retail Operations

  6. Coordinate Store Opening/Conversion of Havaianas Footprints with Internal and External Partners

  7. Store Formats

  8. Standalone Stores
  9. Kiosks
  10. Department Stores
  11. Membership
  12. Lifestyle
  13. Travel Doors

  14. Manage, Update and Analyze Channels pipeline, including alternative/new channels

  15. Manage and Ensure Store Openings are aligned with the approved BEPL

Relationship Building and Management

  • Ensure Smooth Business Relations with Lease Partners
  • Negotiates with Malls and/or other locations for expansion of prime areas with favorable rental rates
  • Effective Inter-department relations within TSA
  • Aligns Objectives and Sales efforts with other departments vis-à-vis their own initiatives, programs and systems

Channel Expansion

  • Assess and Analyze Business Growth for Company-owned and Sub-Distributor Footprints
  • Ensure Brand Presence in key locations nationwide and are at par with revenue goals
  • Review Territorial Presence and Identify Feasible locations of Expansion

Qualifications:

  • With at least 3-years experience in Business Development in comparable industries
  • With solid background in the fashion Retail Industry;
  • With a bachelor's degree in any course
  • Has the leader mindset and willing to work with minimal supervision
  • Good level of strategic, analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to work well with a team
