Job Summary
As a Business Development Officer in the restaurant and fast food franchising sector, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence. Your mission is to fuel growth by connecting with potential clients, developing successful franchising deals, optimizing revenue streams, and supporting the brand's long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities including franchise leads, B2B partnerships, and untapped customer segments within the restaurant and fast food industry.
- Franchising Development: Handle franchising in restaurants or any fast food business, ensuring successful deals through proper evaluation, negotiation, and partnership alignment.
- Networking for Franchising: Build and maintain a strong network of investors, franchisees, and industry partners to strengthen brand reach and market influence.
- Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with restaurant owners, hospitality groups, and food service providers to drive business growth.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design and execute sales and franchise campaigns tailored to the food industry.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decisions and identify new growth avenues.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for new deals, partnerships, and long-term agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, franchise pipeline development, and market feedback.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in food service, hospitality, or retail franchising.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer behavior, and food trends.
- Experience in franchising operations or managing franchise-related agreements is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and presentation platforms.
