I. JOB BRIEF:

The Employee and Labor Relations Supervisor is responsible for maintaining employee-employer relationships by planning and implementing a variety of employee-related activities (i.e. employee events, rewards, and recognition) and end-to-end handling of employee disciplinary cases.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS

  2. Consistently and effectively communicates with employees regarding People & Culture department announcements, programs and policies through various communication channels.

  3. Monitors implementation of programs and policies.

  4. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

  5. Planning, budgeting, implementing for a one-year calendar for employee engagement activities promoting work-life blending, health, and wellness to all employees.

  6. ADMINISTRATION OF EMPLOYEE CASES AND INCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS

  7. Implements due process for all employee cases.

  8. Represents the company in labor-related cases.
  9. Solves employee issue/s by conducting investigations, interviews, and gathering of related documents to manage employee grievances and resolve disputes.

  10. EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE

  11. Implements company policies to guide employees in their daily routine inside the company premises and encourage due diligence and self-discipline.

  12. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  13. Monitors implementation of Performance Management System. Ensures timely submission and completeness of needed data.

  14. EMPLOYEE REWARDS AND RECOGNITION

  15. Assists People & Culture Manager in planning and implementation of Employee Rewards and Recognition Program.

  16. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  17. Able to guide HR Employee and Labor Relations according to department objectives.

  18. Identifies strength and developmental areas of the team members.

  19. ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  20. Ensures complete filing of employee incidents.

  21. Presents reports according to Employee and Labor Relations metrices.

III. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree in Behavioral Science, Human Resource Development Management, AB Psychology, Legal Management or equivalent four-year course.
  • At least 5 years solid experience in Human Resources as generalist or specialist in Employee and Labor Relations, 3 years of which is Supervisor/ Officer position.
  • Must be willing to work in Quezon City.
