Job Highlights

- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST

- Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Job Description
This is an exciting Business Development Representative role where you'll serve as the crucial link between business loan applicants and their funding goals. You'll work with entrepreneurs and small business owners who have already expressed interest in obtaining business loans, helping them complete their applications and gather necessary documentation to move forward with underwriting. This role combines relationship building, process management, and results-driven communication in a fast-paced financial services environment. Starting with manageable volume that allows for skill development, you'll quickly scale to handle significant application flow as the business grows, with clear performance incentives tied to your success.
Responsibilities
- Contact business loan applicants through multiple channels (phone, email, text) to complete incomplete applications.
- Review and verify loan applications for completeness, ensuring all required information is captured (personal details, business information, financial data).
- Collect and organize required business bank statements (typically 3–4 months of recent statements).
- Guide applicants through DocuSign processes for updated application submissions.
- Present loan offers to approved applicants with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintain persistent but professional follow-up campaigns to maximize response rates.
- Process increasing volumes of applications efficiently as business scales from 20 per week to 200+ every two weeks.
- Ensure applications meet underwriting standards before submission to maximize approval rates.
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills with clear, professional phone presence.
- Assertive and confident communication style; ability to be direct and results-focused with business owners.
- Experience in business-to-business communication strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working with financial documents and loan application processes.
- Strong attention to detail for application review and verification.
- Resilient personality with ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence.
- Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup.
- Availability to work afternoon/evening hours (12 PM – 9 PM ET preferred) to align with business owner schedules.
