Sales Manager – B2B

Overall Objectives

Manage sales efforts, including activities of sales engineers - negotiation and sales functions, and monitoring of contracts / projects. Targeted clients to penetrate: Real Estate/Property Development Companies & Industrial clients.

Achieve sales targets in the territory while operating within the confines of company policies and promotional programs. Monitor sales performance regularly and recommend action plans to ensure achievement of sales.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate

  • Participate in the development of operating goals and objectives of the department; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Assists in the annual budget planning process and regularly monitors expenditures.
  • Ensures responsibility and accountability in the establishment, implementation, maintenance and sustainability of the quality standards, policies and procedures in Quality Management System.
  • Provides feedback and suggestions to the top management regarding improvements on the working conditions of the team.
  • Set an example to the team in adherence to EH&S and ethics policies.
  • Responsible on the development of direct reports.

Operational

  • Achieve their set objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
  • Responsible for motivating and advising their representatives to improve their performance, as well as hiring and training new sales engineers.
  • Maintains sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Ensure that the sales department works cross functionally with representatives from other departments.
  • Provide progress report through Monthly Operational Review.
  • Regular monitoring of with scheduled Monthly Governance Review.
  • Monthly Monitoring of Win & Loss projects
  • Conduct monthly performance and sales review for direct reports - Sales Engineers
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other functions that may be required to ensure business continuity.

Education

  • Graduate of Any Engineering Course, preferably Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Training and Certification

  • Passed the Licensure Examination as applicable
  • Masteral Degree in Business Administration (desired)

Experience

  • At least 5 years related work experience on the same position (required)
  • At least 5 to 8 years of work experience on the same position, in related industry (desired)
