Business Development Officer

Job Purpose:
The Business Development Officer supports ChuChu Beauty's retail and brand growth by identifying potential store locations, evaluating business opportunities, and coordinating cross-functional efforts for new store openings. This role ensures that expansion projects are strategically planned, well-executed, and aligned with ChuChu Beauty's brand goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Market & Retail Expansion
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential retail locations for new stores, kiosks, or pop-ups.
- Analyze foot traffic, competitor presence, and sales data to determine site feasibility.
- Coordinate with mall leasing officers and property managers to gather rental proposals, layouts, and leasing terms.
- Prepare feasibility studies and recommendations for management review.
Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with Retail Operations, Marketing, Warehouse, Finance, and HR to ensure all requirements for store openings are met — from manpower to inventory and marketing launch activities.
- Track store opening timelines and ensure all departments deliver on schedule.
- Facilitate alignment meetings or site visits with involved teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for store opening-related concerns.
Partnerships & Growth Opportunities
- Identify and develop partnerships with retailers, distributors, and other strategic partners.
- Support brand activations, collaborations, and pop-up events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mall admins and business partners.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare reports on market research, location performance, and project status updates.
- Maintain an updated tracker of all ongoing and proposed store expansion projects.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, retail expansion, or leasing coordination.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills — able to manage multiple departments and timelines.
- Familiar with mall leasing processes and retail operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and able to prepare reports and presentations.
- Willing to travel for site validation and store setup coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
