POSITION: Marketing Assistant
REPORTS TO: Business Owner
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To lead the structured and timely delivery of marketing initiatives that build brand presence, engage our ideal audience, and drive business growth in both public and private forms. This role works closely with the owner to implement marketing strategies across digital channels, develop compelling content, and support an exceptional customer experience through consistent brand expression.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Formal qualification in marketing or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage digital marketing tools and campaigns
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- A proactive, strategic thinker who can also execute with precision
KEY SOFTWARE THAT WILL BE USED:
- ClickUp (project and task management)
- Kajabi (email marketing, course delivery, landing pages)
- Microsoft 365
- Go High Level (Loading and tracking SM content and Reviews - light usage)
REVIEW AREA
Marketing Strategy & Implementation
· Develop and maintain a practical marketing plan focused on lead generation and sales outcomes
- · Execute campaigns across relevant platforms and communities
- · Collaborate with the owner on refining and prioritising initiatives
- · Write, prepare, and publish content in alignment with brand voice and tone guidelines.
- Develop promotional materials that support key launches, offers, or services
- Monitor and understand core marketing metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, engagement) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns
- Present performance results in a clear and accessible way to support decision-making
- Apply a strong understanding of the business's ideal client; who they are, what they value, and the language they use across all messaging and campaigns
- Stay across the capabilities and setup of core marketing tools
- Campaigns are aligned with business objectives and delivered on time
- Brand presence is consistent, clear, and compelling across all platforms
- Content and messaging support engagement and conversion
- Campaigns are not only delivered on time but tracked and refined based on performance
- Marketing decisions are informed by relevant data
- Messaging and tone feel familiar and resonant to the ideal client
- The business owner receives accurate insights and reporting
- Marketing tools are used efficiently and with confidence
Audience Growth & Engagement
- Support the growth of our audience and customer base through warm, value-led content
- Stay informed on industry trends and share insights that may shape future offerings
- Maintain relationships with key partners and support collaborative promotions
- Respond to client inquiries or feedback on digital platforms
- Build and maintain automated client journeys and workflows
- Capture and share real language, recurring questions, and feedback from clients or prospects to inform future content, messaging, or offers
- Apply technical understanding to relationship-building tools (Kajabi, GHL, etc.)
- Our database and online community continues to grow with engaged prospects
- Trends are integrated into future planning when aligned with the brand
- Feedback loops are positive and help strengthen client trust
- Automations are optimised and reflect the quality of the brand experience
- Client insights are regularly shared with the owner and used to shape content strategy
- Marketing feels responsive and grounded in what the audience actually wants and needs
Brand Consistency & Digital Presence
- Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines, values, and tone
- Maintain an organised and up-to-date library of client-facing assets
- Assist with slide decks, landing pages, client resources, and funnels
- Ensure all touchpoints reflect a strong, welcoming, and professional brand
- When using client stories, testimonials, or results for promotional or educational purposes, ensure all materials respect privacy boundaries and align with the company's privacy and consent policies
- Obtain and record proper consent before using any identifiable client information
- The brand is presented consistently across all platforms and materials
- Clients and prospects experience the brand as clear, trustworthy, and engaging
- Resources and tools are easy to access, up-to-date, and value-driven
- Client privacy is respected, and all public-facing content reflects the business's commitment to confidentiality and ethical storytelling
Planning, Productivity & Contribution
- Plan and prioritise daily tasks using internal project management tools
- Contribute suggestions to strengthen brand, content, or client experience
- Keep the owner informed of new tools, tactics, or trends that could enhance offerings
- Work toward team goals and track performance through internal systems
- Help improve workflows and automation to increase efficiency
- Daily and weekly tasks are completed efficiently and logged appropriately
- Strategic suggestions are welcomed and considered
- Tools and platforms remain current and relevant
- Workflow processes improve over time
Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate with clients, team members, and third parties in a clear and respectful manner
- Share ideas and offer thoughtful feedback when invited
- Help troubleshoot issues and offer creative solutions when challenges arise
- Relationships are built on trust and clear communication
- Problem-solving is solution-focused and proactive
- The brand is represented with professionalism in every interaction
Growth & Development
- Complete all required training
- Take initiative in building relevant skills and expanding knowledge
- Track and apply learning to improve marketing performance

- Be flexible with evolving tasks as the business grows
